I trained and graduated from the world-famous Norland college, Hungerford, in 1996 and immediately commenced full-time, private nannying, caring for babies and young children. I have had a successful nannying career which spanned 10 years where I have gained valuable experience working in close proximity to families with young children, both as a "live-in" and "daily" nanny. The roles varied from sole charge, shared care, plus a mix of full-time and part-time with different families. I have worked with single parents and also as a proxy parent. I have experience working with children from new born through to 14 years of age, as well as special needs and twins. I took a career break to have my own two sons in 2008 and 2010. I now specialise in night nannying for new born singleton, twins and triplets and offer troubleshooting and sleep training on a consultancy basis. This enables me to combine my own family commitments with my years of experience and knowledge to help other families make positive changes to better enjoy their children's early years.
Gemma’s support and advice helped us to get our baby into a routine that actually worked!
We can only describe Gemma as a life saver!!
Gemma was a massive help to us in the first few weeks of settling into life with new born twins.
Gemma has been an absolute godsend to our family since the birth of my son.
Gemma was recommended to us by a friend when we were completely exhausted by the sleeping habits of our 3rd baby aged 10 months.
Gemma worked with us as a night nanny for a period spanning 10 weeks.
Gemma came to us at what should have been a joyous time but turned out to be incredibly difficult.
We sought Gemma's help following two years of sleep deprivation after our son was born.
Gemma has provided practical help to us via consultations on two occasions.
Gemma is incredibly professional, but also warm and caring, and very helpful, supportive and full of very good advice.
Please contact Little Matters if you have any queries regarding help with your child, night nannying or if you are simply after some professional advice in dealing with your little ones little matters.
